How we work

No surprises, start to finish.

A project at Domeq starts with a conversation and runs in clear phases, led by one accountable person. This page sets out what happens, what we need from you, what you own and what comes after launch.

The first conversation.

Every project begins with a message and a short conversation about the goal. There is no form to fill in before you can talk to someone.

  1. 01

    Reach us your way

Send an enquiry on the contact page, email the founder or message on WhatsApp. A reply typically comes within 24 hours.

  2. 02

    Tell us the goal

Say what the business does, who it is for and what you want the work to achieve. A short brief is enough, and the website brief template shows what helps.

  3. 03

    We agree the scope

The scope is agreed around the work you need, not forced into a fixed package. Website projects have a stated starting price, and retainers are available. See how pricing works.

  4. 04

    One named lead

The founder or an assigned team leader leads the work, so you always know who is responsible.

Seven phases for a website.

Every website is different, but expect about a week for requirements and at least two weeks to deliver, including full QA and sanity testing.

  1. Discover

We learn your business, audience, goals and competitors, and agree the requirements. This takes about a week.

  2. Plan

We map the sitemap and page structure, plan the content, and choose the right platform: WordPress, Shopify or Next.js.

  3. Design

We design the layout and look of the key pages, then refine them with your feedback before the build starts.

  4. Build

We develop every page to work on mobile, tablet and laptop, and set up SEO, Search Console, Analytics and Meta.

  1. Test

Full QA and sanity testing across devices, browsers, forms and links, with speed checked against a score of 90 or higher.

  2. Launch

The website goes live, we check it again on the live address, and we train your team if you need it.

  3. Support

Maintenance is free for the first month. After that, ongoing care is available as a paid service.

What we need from you.

Projects move quickly when decisions do. These are the things that keep one on schedule, and none of them needs to be perfect on day one.

Need help writing it down? Use the website brief template.

  • A named person who can answer questions and give feedback quickly

  • The goal of the project, in a sentence or two

  • Your logo, brand colours and fonts, or a wish to have them created

  • The content you already have, such as service descriptions and team details

  • Examples of websites you like and dislike, and why

  • Access to any accounts the project needs, such as your domain

  • Your decisions at each review, so the next phase can start

After launch.

A launch is the start of the site's working life, not the end of the support.

Training
We train your team to manage the site if you need it.
Hosting

Maintenance
Free for the first month*, then paid. Ongoing care is available through Website Maintenance & Optimization.
Growth
SEO, Performance Marketing and Social Media Marketing can bring visitors to the finished site.

You own the work.

Clients own the work and its assets once the final payment is made. The full terms are on the terms page.

Ongoing work.

Not every service is a project with an end date. Retainers are available for ongoing work, and LinkedIn management is delivered that way. The scope is agreed with you before the work starts. See LinkedIn Marketing and the other services.

Questions, answered.

What happens after I send an enquiry to Domeq?

You receive a reply, typically within 24 hours, by email or WhatsApp. We ask about the business and the goal, agree the scope with you, and then start with a discovery phase that takes about a week for a website.

Who will I speak to during the project?

The founder or an assigned team leader leads every project and is your point of contact, so you do not have to chase different people for answers.

Do I need a written brief before I contact you?

No. A few sentences about the business and what you want is enough to begin. A fuller brief makes the first phase faster, and the website brief template shows what to include.

Will I see the design before the website is built?

Yes. In the design phase we design the layout and look of the key pages and refine them with your feedback before the build starts, so you are not surprised by the result.

What is tested before a website goes live?

Full QA and sanity testing across devices, browsers, forms and links, with speed checked against a performance score of 90 or higher. After launch we check the site again on the live address.

Can Domeq work on a monthly basis?

Yes. Retainers are available for ongoing work such as LinkedIn management and marketing. The scope and the monthly arrangement are agreed with you before the work starts.

What if my project needs more than one service?

Domeq can be engaged for one service or a connected scope across website, branding, search and marketing. The same lead coordinates it, so the pieces fit together.

Bring the ambition.
We'll build the system.
